Zanbato Group

The Zanbato Group develops online platforms for buyers and sellers of infrastructure assets and projects to connect, source new opportunities, and manage the capital raising process.[1] Zanbato allows advisors to promote their opportunities with dynamic deal templates, connect with new financiers by searching investor databases, and manage document sharing through virtual data rooms.[2]

Leadership

Dr. Ryan J. Orr, executive director of Stanford University's Collaboratory for Research on Global Projects, is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of the Zanbato Group.[3] Paul Talley, formerly of Macquarie Group and Giuliani Partners is the Chief Operating Officer. Joe Lonsdale, co-founder of Palantir Technologies is also a Co-Chairman.[4]

Sokoni

On November 11, 2011, G20 leaders accepted the recommendations of the High-Level Panel for Infrastructure Development, endorsing the development of the Sokoni (Swahili for Marketplace) Africa Infrastructure Marketplace.[5][6]

The African Development Bank and the Zanbato Group joined up to create Sokoni, the first online marketplace for infrastructure projects in Africa. Sokoni is a technology platform makes information available to investors through better links to project sponsors and financiers.[7]
